How is this different from a Gmail collaborative inbox?

A Gmail group covers email only and has no owner, notes or resolution. Sellio adds assignment, private notes, mentions, snooze, tickets and analytics, for chat and messaging channels too.

Every conversation has an owner, a person or a team, so nothing is answered twice.

Can two people reply to the same customer at once?

They can see it coming first. The inbox shows who is viewing and typing in a conversation, and assignment gives it one owner, so collisions are visible before they happen.

Presence shows who is online, who is typing, and who else has the same conversation open.
Assignment gives one owner; the rest of the team works the Unassigned view.
@mention a colleague to pull them in rather than replying over each other.

Does it work for email-only teams?

Yes. Forward the support address and use Sellio as the team's email inbox; add chat and messaging whenever you want.

One forwarding rule connects the address, and replies go back by email from the same thread.
Assignment, notes, snooze and tickets work on email exactly as on chat.
Add channels later from Settings; the website widget is one script tag.

Does the AI agent reply on this channel?

Not yet. Today the AI agent answers on website chat only. Messages from WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and email land in the shared inbox for your team.

Same inbox, same tools. Those conversations get the same assignment, private notes, tickets and analytics as web chat.
People reply on messaging channels. Your team answers from the inbox and the reply goes back on the channel the customer used.
Website chat gets the agent. On the widget it answers from your imported knowledge and hands over to a person when unsure.
